Hey cubers! Big news — PCC is hosting a competition this summer, and you’re invited.
The details:
- When: Sunday, June 28, 2026, 1–5 PM
- Where: Gateway Community Resource Center, 513 Birch Street, Boonton, NJ
- Events: 3×3, 2×2, and Pyraminx
- Entry fee: $45
Whether you’re chasing a sub-20 average, going for your first sub-5 on Pyraminx, or just want to experience the energy of a comp room, this one’s for you. Don’t stress about your times — everyone starts somewhere, and the cubing community is genuinely one of the friendliest you’ll find.
A few quick tips if it’s your first comp:
- Practice with a timer, not just casually. Comp pressure is real.
- Get familiar with WCA-style inspection and regs before you show up.
- Bring a backup cube. Trust me.
- Lube and tension your main the week before — not the night before.
