Frequently Asked Questions
Everything parents ask us about classes, camps, and competitions — answered.
What is the Parsippany Cube Club?
The Parsippany Cube Club (PCC) is a student-run club that teaches kids how to solve the Rubik’s Cube through classes, tutoring, summer camps, and competitions in Parsippany and Morris County, New Jersey. Proceeds from our programs support local community programs and food pantries.
My child has never solved a cube. Can they still join?
Absolutely — most of our students start as complete beginners. Our step-by-step curriculum takes kids from their very first solve all the way to competition-ready, and every lesson is taught by experienced student cubers.
What programs do you offer?
We offer private lessons, semi-private lessons, group classes, and a competition team — available both in-person and online. We also run an annual summer camp and host Rubik’s Cube competitions.
What cubes and puzzles do you teach?
Everything from the classic 3×3 to 2×2, 4×4, 5×5 and up, Pyraminx, Skewb, Megaminx, Clock, Square-1, and shape-shifting puzzles.
How do we get started?
Register for tutoring or book a trial session. After you sign up, a team member reaches out to schedule an initial consultation, answer your questions, and match your child to the right program.
When is Summer Camp 2026?
Summer Camp 2026 runs two weeks: July 20–24 and August 10–14. Campers of all levels get hands-on time with the 3×3, Pyraminx, Ivy Cube, and more. Learn more here.
Do you host competitions?
Yes! PCC hosts an annual Rubik’s Cube competition with events like 3×3, 2×2, and Pyraminx. Competition Team tryouts for our next season are on August 31, 2026 — details coming soon.
Where does the money go?
PCC gives back: we have raised over $30,000 for charity, with proceeds supporting local community programs and food pantries in the Parsippany area.
