Competition Team

Vasant Raghavan

Hi, my name is Vasant Raghavan and I am in 5th grade and live in New Jersey. I like to solve rubik’s cubes because I feel happy when I get a new record solve time. I can solve 3x3x3, 2x2x2, 4x4x4, 5x5x5, 6x6x6, etc. My goal is sub – 10 average on 3x3x3. My favorite is the 2x2x2 and I don’t plan on quitting cubing anytime soon.

Michael Shatkin

My name is Michael Shatkin. I started cubing about 1-2 years ago. I started cubing because I wanted to impress my friends and family. I learned the 3 by 3 in 3 days, and found out that I really enjoyed cubing. I recently learned how to solve a 8×8. I eventually got other puzzles and improved on 3 by 3 as well. My goal is to get sub 20 consistently on the 3 by 3. I am happy with my progress in cubing and will keep working on it. I am excited to join your team and looking forward to new comp challenges.

Michael Miloslavskiy

My name is Mike. I am a 9-year old speedcuber who averages about 14 seconds on 3×3 and have been to 15 official World Cube Association competitions in 6 different states. I also went to the Competition organized by the LEO club in Parsippany and Got 1st place on 2×2. My other hobbies are: track and field, rock climbing, doing math and sleeping. My favorite cube to solve is the Square-1 because it is pretty easy and quick to solve and my least favorite cube is the puppet cube 2 because it is very hard and boring to solve. I have over 150 cubes in my collection and 17 3×3’s. I have Rubik’s cubes 1×1 to 8×8. I have shape-shifting and even color changing cubes. some of my cubes i’ve never solved before for example the ghost cube and the puppet cube 1.
